Internal diseases
An internal medicine doctor is a broadly trained physician who deals with complex and/or chronic health issues in adults. If necessary, the doctor prepares an individual examination plan for the patient, which helps to establish a diagnosis and determine appropriate treatment. Whenever possible, the internist also focuses on disease prevention. The internist assesses the patient's health comprehensively and involves specialists from other fields if needed to achieve the best treatment outcome.
Before visiting the internist, we kindly ask patients to consider their health concerns and review the history of previous illnesses and complaints.
At Medita Clinics Tallinn center, internal medicine consultations are provided by Dr Anni Kangur. Dr Kangur studied at the University of Tartu Faculty of Medicine, completed her residency in internal medicine in 2019, and in allergology-immunology in 2025. She is a member of the Estonian Society of Internal Medicine, the Estonian Society of Immunology and Allergology, and the Estonian Junior Doctors Association.
Dr Kangur welcomes adult patients with various non-surgical issues (e.g., cardiovascular problems, digestive complaints, unexplained weight loss, chronic fatigue, prolonged fever, etc.) who need support and help with their health concerns. Patients with chronic anemia who may benefit from intravenous iron therapy are also welcome. Dr Kangur also adjusts treatment plans for patients with chronic conditions.
Dr Kangur communicates with patients in Estonian and English.
The consultation fee for an internal medicine doctor is €60. Additional charges may apply for tests and examinations according to Medita Clinic’s price list.
